Milano Santa Giulia
Milan Santa Giulia is the new district of Milan that will give centrality to the south-east area of the city. The project that will be developed by Lendlease, has an area of over 1 million square meters and is one of the most important urban regeneration projects in Italy. Milan Santa Giulia has unique characteristics in the urban context of Milan: the High Speed Station of Rogoredo and the exchange stations of urban rail transport and the yellow subway, joined to the intense activities that will be started in 2023 in order to modernize the reference motorway junctions (Mecenate and Paullese), make it the main entrance to the city from the South East. Here the new Arena will see the light and will become a key destination in view of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games.
One of the largest urban parks of the city will be born in Milan Santa Giulia, and here the new Conservatory of Milan will be built. In addition to the existing infrastructure – including the Spark Business District around the Tina Modotti square – new residences will be built according to the most innovative criteria of sustainable building, set in green areas, under the banner of wellbeing and environmental sustainability. A leisure area will be developed, with spaces for shops and restaurants along with personal services designed to enrich the district’s offerings.
Milan Santa Giulia aspires to become a destination for the entire city and to be a model for the development of the community and people’s well-being, in a logic of inclusion and sustainability.
