MIND, in addition to being one of the major urban regeneration works in Italy, is the urban district of innovation unique in Europe in size and model, the result of a public-private partnership between Arexpo and Lendlease, located in the area that hosted EXPO 2015.

Born from the idea of Lendlease to create in the district a city of the future, MIND is the first completely decarbonised district, a sustainable ecosystem with water and green roads that are resilient and designed to reduce environmental impacts.

Focused on the idea that innovation is born from the contamination between minds and ideas, the large common spaces aim to encourage encounter, inclusion, and the mixing of people in MIND who study, work, live: researchers, professionals, students, businesses, and startups.

An ecosystem dedicated to the life sciences and the experimentation of the future of cities in Milan, which develops over an area of 1 million square meters. Within this district are located some excellences such as Human Technopole, IRCCS Galeazzi, Triulza Foundation and the Scientific Campus of the University of Milan State, Skydeck Europe, the startup accelerator of the University of California, Berkley, the largest system of Higher Technical Institutes of Lombardy and an ecosystem of over 40 enterprises and large companies that in MIND have offices, research laboratories, and workspaces.
